Description

You will lead the migration of the codebase from R to Python, managing data processing pipelines and modernizing legacy systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Refactor and migrate significant portions of existing code from R to Python.
• Translate legacy code and associated documentation from R to Python.
• Develop and maintain data processing and data cleaning pipelines.
• Handle complex DataFrame management and manipulation tasks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency in both R and Python.
• Experience building and designing data-intensive solutions.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and KFP.
• Experience with distributed compute systems like Dask Operator.
• SQL knowledge is required.
• Proficiency in Python development, with experience in Web API development being a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Web API development.
