Description

You will own the end-to-end deployment of business applications across cloud and on-premise environments, building automation for builds, installs, and configurations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation scripts for deploying code packages, artifacts, and configurations across Linux, AIX, and Windows infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage applications on JBoss, Spring Boot, WebSphere, IHS, Tomcat, and Node.js platforms.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Salt, and Terraform.
• Operate and troubleshoot containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system health and manage infrastructure-as-code to ensure reliable delivery.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of IT experience with strong proficiency in Azure Cloud and DevOps practices.
• Hands-on experience deploying and configuring applications on Linux, AIX, and Windows Server environments.
• Deep knowledge of application servers including JBoss, Spring Boot, WebSphere, IHS, and Tomcat.
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes clustering.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, or PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and issue tracking (Jira, Confluence).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and software development lifecycle best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting knowledge.
• Experience with OpenStack, Cloudify, or GCP.
• Azure certifications.
