Description

You will own observability engineering and resiliency practices for application platforms in AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support OpenTelemetry integrations for browser, ECS, and Lambda platforms.
• Improve resiliency engineering practices, including application design patterns and deployment strategies.
• Drive incident detection, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex production issues.
• Automate incident response and infrastructure management workflows.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and implement scalable solutions.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of Java or JavaScript, with strong practical experience in distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically ECS and Lambda.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and performance tuning skills.
• Understanding of event loops and memory management.
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry specification and core APIs.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues and propose efficient technical solutions.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
