Description

You will serve as the subject matter expert for composites materials and manufacturing processes, owning the stability of robotic production systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot robotic, mechanical, and process issues to support daily production.
• Provide day-shift, on-site support for Fanuc robotic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues involving Fanuc robots and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Support engineering with project scoping, equipment layout, vendor coordination, and customer discussions.
• Perform basic thermal, flow, and mechanical calculations and assist with P&ID reviews.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a Robotics Engineer or in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fanuc robotics controls.
• Experience troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in composites or carbon fiber manufacturing.
• Knowledge of thermal systems, fluid flow, and mechanical calculations.
• Familiarity with Mathcad and ASME B31.3.
