Description

You will own the quality assurance and testing strategy for ROS-based industrial robotic systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites using Python and C++ for rapid prototyping and validation.
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies covering unit, integration, and system-level testing for industrial robot applications.
• Create and maintain test automation frameworks leveraging rostest, unittest, and gtest.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines specifically for robotics applications.
• Execute thorough testing of robot safety systems, pick-and-place, welding, and material handling operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in robotics testing or quality assurance.
• Proficiency in ROS/ROS2 applied to industrial robotics.
• Strong programming skills in Python for iterative testing and C++ for production validation.
• Deep understanding of the ROS testing ecosystem: unittest, gtest, and rostest.
• Experience with MoveIt2 for motion planning validation and Navigation2 (Nav2) for path planning.
• Familiarity with simulation environments like Gazebo and Isaac Sim.
• Proficiency with RViz for visual debugging and state validation.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS RoboMaker, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Catkin or Ament build systems.
