Description

You will design, develop, and optimize back-end systems using Ruby and Node.js in Smithfield, NC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and refactoring of Ruby and Node.js applications to ensure scalability and performance.
• Refactor legacy codebases to improve application architecture and maintainability.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• 4+ years of experience in Node.js development.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven track record of refactoring and optimizing existing applications.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
