📌 Job Summary

Hiring a highly experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer with strong leadership capabilities

Must have proven experience leading engineering teams and owning end-to-end delivery

Responsible for system architecture, scalability, and mentoring engineers

Exposure to React.js and Node.js is a plus

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and scale Ruby on Rails applications

Lead technical strategy, system design, and architecture decisions

Manage and mentor a team of developers as a Team Lead

Drive code quality through reviews and best practices

Collaborate with product, QA, and business stakeholders

Optimize application performance, security, and database queries

Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Oversee cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and production stability

Ensure high-quality releases through testing and automation

Drive technical roadmap and engineering excellence

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

12+ years of overall software development experience

4+ years of Team Lead / Tech Lead experience

Strong hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails

Deep understanding of system design and scalable architectures

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

Strong knowledge of REST APIs, security, and performance tuning

Proficiency in Git and Agile methodologies

Proven experience leading teams, mentoring engineers, and driving delivery

🌟 Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with React.js

Exposure to Node.js

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture

Experience working in product-based or high-scale environments
