Description

Design and maintain scalable, distributed Ruby on Rails services within a service-oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications.
• Build performance-sensitive systems handling tens of millions of daily requests.
• Develop and document mid-tier services, modifying them as required.
• Collaborate within an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
• Test systems rigorously to ensure reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails development.
• Experience with Postgres and other relational databases.
• Proficiency with APIs and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control.
• Experience working in Linux environments and using VIM.
• Practical knowledge of Agile development methods.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate status.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JavaScript and other front-end technologies.
