Description

You will own the development and maintenance of server-side logic, ensuring efficient data exchange between the server and users.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Ruby code for server-side applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side business logic.
• Conduct code reviews to identify improvements and maintain code quality.
• Investigate bugs and implement technical fixes to resolve issues.
• Maintain and optimize the central database for performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and Ruby syntax.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS, including writing SQL queries.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Deep familiarity with MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful principles.
• Experience using RSpec for testing.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Competency with Git for version control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Experience with messaging and queuing technologies like RabbitMQ or Sidekiq.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Continuous Integration tools.
