Description

You will lead the migration of an existing Ruby on Rails application hosted on AWS to a new .NET environment on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Translate existing Ruby on Rails logic into a .NET architecture.
• Rewrite application components to function on Azure and SQL Server.
• Ensure the new platform maintains core application functionality.
• Collaborate on the transition from PostgreSQL to Azure SQL.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
• Frontend skills in AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with iOS development.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, or Azure SQL.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
