You will apply advanced statistical methods to real-world data to drive analytical insights and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Execute complex programming tasks using R or Python within a professional data science capacity.
• Analyze U.S. longitudinal RWD assets, including claims, electronic health records, and surveys.
• Develop data visualizations to communicate analytical findings and facilitate understanding.
• Translate advanced models and statistical analyses for non-technical audiences.
• Manage multiple analytical projects through collaborative problem-solving and planning.

Required Skills

• Master's degree in outcomes research, epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, or predictive analytics.
• 5+ years of professional programming experience in Data Science using R or Python.
• Direct experience working with Optum Market Clarity data.
• Proficiency in statistical methods including causal inference, survival analysis, and general linear models.
• Strong command of statistical software such as R, SAS, Python, or Stata.
• Experience handling longitudinal datasets like claims and EHR.
• Ability to produce clear visualizations for data communication.

Preferred Skills

• Pharmaceutical industry experience.
• SQL proficiency for database querying.
• Machine learning experience and a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
