Description

You will provide technical pre-sales consultation for the design, engineering, and implementation of network products and solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams and industry partners to assess product applications and provide optimum system solutions.
• Respond to customer proposals including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to create viable technical solutions.
• Develop architecture designs, engineering bills of materials, and implementation specifications for next-generation networks.
• Influence customer technology strategies through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof of concept engagements.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customer IT decision-makers and deliver training to partner engineers.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a technical or pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and security technology domains.
• Experience designing and consulting on LAN/WAN, Campus, Data Center, Security, and Cloud technology solutions.
• Proven knowledge of routing protocols including IGPs, EGPs, and Layer-2/3 VPNs.
• Experience with Campus network design across Access, Distribution, and Core layers.
• Experience with Data Center network design including EVPN/VXLAN, Clos architectures, and underlay fabric.
• Experience with MPLS and WAN network design using LDP and RSVP.
• Knowledge of network security including NGFW, UTM, DDoS, IPSec, MACSec, and SIEM.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Virtualization, VMWare, OpenStack, VNF, and Container solutions.
• DevOps automation experience using Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, YANG, JSON, or Netconf.
• Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and industry certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, or CCIE.
