Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Developer / Lead with at least 10+ years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem to support a high-priority enterprise initiative in New York State.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical development capabilities with lead architecture expertise, holding credentials as both a Salesforce Certified Solution Architect and Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA). You will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering scalable enterprise Salesforce solutions, guiding offshore/onshore technical teams, and interfacing directly with executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and technical execution of complex Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
• Write robust, scalable, and maintainable Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages.
• Architect multi-system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware (MuleSoft/similar), and event-driven architectures.
• Provide technical leadership, enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Partner with business analysts and product owners to translate complex state agency requirements into efficient technical specs.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards across all Salesforce org environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of total IT experience, with at least 8+ years focused purely on Salesforce development and architecture.
• Mandatory Certifications:
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
• Salesforce Certified Solution Architect
• Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, Flow Builder, and Salesforce APIs.
• Integration Expertise: Proven track record of designing complex enterprise integrations and data migrations.
• Leadership: Prior experience acting as a Technical Lead or Lead Developer on large-scale enterprise engagements.
• Location Flexibility: Based in or willing to relocate to New York (Albany / NYC area).
