Description

This role will help establish a scalable target-state data architecture while supporting a multi-year transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

Define the target-state data architecture across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP/DataSphere, SAC, Power BI, AWS, Salesforce, telematics, and legacy platforms.

Design architecture for a multi-year coexistence environment between S/4HANA and legacy systems.

Review, challenge, and validate proposed architecture recommendations.

Define appropriate data ownership and placement across S/4HANA, DataSphere, enterprise data warehouse, AWS, and archival platforms.

Develop a sustainable master data model for the post-Phase 1 environment.

Evaluate SAP-native data governance capabilities and future adoption of SAP MDG or third-party solutions.

Identify architectural risks and ensure short-term implementation decisions support long-term enterprise architecture.

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to establish scalable data architecture standards and governance.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience as a Senior SAP Data Architect or Enterprise Data Architect.

Recent hands-on SAP S/4HANA architecture experience.

Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data governance, and master data management.

Experience with SAP BTP/DataSphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Experience with cloud and enterprise data platforms such as AWS and Power BI.

Ability to evaluate complex data architecture decisions and provide clear technical recommendations.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce and telematics data environments.

Experience with SAP MDG or third-party master data governance platforms.

Experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation or modernization programs.

Experience managing data architecture across legacy and modern enterprise platforms
