Description

Own the configuration, support, and enhancement of SAP Finance (FI) and Apparel & Footwear Solution (AFS) modules for US-based operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP FI components including GL, AP, AR, AA, and Bank Accounting.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Implement and manage SAP AFS features, including season, grid, size, and color impacts on finance postings.
• Provide L2/L3 AMS support for incidents, problems, and change management within the SAP Finance ecosystem.
• Coordinate UAT, write functional specifications for enhancements, and manage integration testing with MM, SD, and external systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on SAP Finance.
• Deep expertise in SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, New GL, Parallel Accounting, and Document Splitting.
• Proficiency in SAP CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Experience with SAP AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution), including revenue recognition, pricing, rebates, and credit management.
• Strong understanding of tax configuration (GST/VAT/Sales Tax) concepts and financial reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent progressive experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sales order processing specific to AFS characteristics.
• Functional specification writing and defect resolution in an AMS environment.
