Description

You will design, build, and maintain responsive SAP UI applications using SAPUI5, OpenUI5, and SAP Fiori frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop role-based, intuitive applications aligned with SAP Fiori design principles and customize standard apps to meet business needs.
• Integrate front-end solutions with SAP back-end systems via OData services and SAP Gateway, including legacy app integration into SAP Work Zone.
• Troubleshoot UI performance, compatibility, and usability issues across environments while maintaining code quality and SAP development standards.
• Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide accurate effort estimates.
• Mentor junior developers, support knowledge sharing, and assist with unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of SAP development experience with a strong focus on UI development.
• Hands-on expertise in SAPUI5, OpenUI5, and SAP Fiori (standard and freestyle apps).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with OData services and SAP Gateway.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and SAP Fiori design guidelines.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot UI performance and usability issues.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments and ABAP back-end integration concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Web IDE, SAP BTP, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to Fiori Elements, CDS Views, and SAP Work Zone integration.
