Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end transportation processes, translating complex logistics requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement gathering workshops and transform business needs into functional specifications for Strategic Freight Management, Planning, and Execution.
• Perform advanced configuration of Freight Units, Freight Orders, Freight Booking, and Planning Profiles including Optimizer settings.
• Own integration points between TM and S/4HANA (embedded or side-by-side) with EWM, SD, and MM.
• Design complex Freight Settlement processes, including cost distribution, dispute management, and integration with S/4HANA Finance.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers to define logic for Post Processing Framework (PPF), BRF+, and custom enhancements via BOPF.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in SAP Transportation Management.
• Deep expertise in Manual Planning (Transportation Cockpit) and Automated Planning (Optimizer).
• Strong understanding of BOPF, FBI, and BRF+ technical frameworks.
• Experience with Advanced TM in S/4HANA 1909 or later (up to 2023).
• Knowledge of GIS integration, distance/duration buffering (PCM, HERE Maps).
• Expert knowledge in Freight RFQ P2P cycles and Tendering processes.
• Minimum 2 full life-cycle implementations of SAP TM.
• Experience migrating from SAP LE-TRA to SAP TM.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to lead junior consultants and offshore resources.
• Strong grasp of Incoterms, hazardous goods handling, and international ocean/air freight documentation.
