Description

You will design, program, and maintain SCADA systems while providing operational support for existing infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new SCADA systems, integrating current automation trends in the gas industry.
• Develop HMI displays, real-time databases, and historical database interfaces and reports.
• Troubleshoot SCADA software, server issues, and data polling from field RTUs.
• Program wireless modems including Sierra Wireless and Digi.
• Coordinate with Gas Control operators and field technicians to ensure safe pipeline operation and document system changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SCADA administration or system administration.
• In-depth knowledge of AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA) baseline platform.
• Proficiency with RTU/PLC protocols including Modbus, DNP3, and BSAP.
• Experience with Gas Measurement Metering and data polling to field RTUs.
• Ability to write SQL queries and simple scripts.
• Working knowledge of SCADA fundamentals within the utility space.
• Experience configuring, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in small team environments requiring independent judgment.
