Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Scala programming language for enterprise applications.
• Build and manage Kafka publishers and subscribers for real-time data streaming and event processing.
• Develop and optimize batch jobs for data processing and automation to support business requirements.
• Perform graph data modeling using Neo4j to support application requirements and enhance system performance.
• Deploy components on Citi's internal Cloud infrastructure and Linux machines as containerized applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand, challenge, and refine business and technical requirements.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to software development best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure alignment with overall project goals and technical strategy.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project deliverables and timelines.

Experience Required: 8-12 years of relevant experience in software development with strong proficiency in Scala programming language. Hands-on experience developing microservices and solid experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming. Strong working knowledge of Neo4j including graph data modeling and Cypher queries. Experience in systems analysis, programming, and managing successful project implementations.

Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
