Description

You will design and maintain critical backend services using Scala or Java, owning the full lifecycle from modular component design to production deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement end-to-end microservice solutions integrated with databases and third-party systems.
• Design and build secure REST APIs using OAuth2 and JWT.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize service performance and API endpoints.
• Own the design of modular components to ensure code reusability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to build and deploy infrastructure using cloud technologies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional development experience in Scala or Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and building microservices.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying and managing services on AWS.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• Understanding of functional programming and reactive patterns.
• Proven experience with unit and integration testing practices, including TDD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
