Description

You will develop and maintain large-scale data applications within a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Build data lakes and data pipelines in the cloud using Azure and Databricks.
• Write secure, clean, and stable code that follows industry best practices.
• Support and maintain existing strategic applications.
• Manage development lifecycles including CI/CD pipelines.
• Prioritize tasks across multiple projects within an agile methodology.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software delivery.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Scala.
• Proven experience with Big Data technologies including Spark, Databricks, and Hadoop/ADLS.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, including Star schema and Snowflaking designs.
• Proficiency with source-controlled environments such as GitHub or Subversion.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft SQL Server BI stack experience (SSAS/SSIS) in Multidimensional or Tabular models.
• Experience in financial services.
• Deep familiarity with Azure.
