Description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with a strong combination of Agile/Scrum leadership, business analysis, process modelling, stakeholder management, and DevOps knowledge.

The successful consultant will facilitate Agile delivery practices, lead Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, coach and mentor teams, support backlog management, and promote continuous improvement. The role will also involve gathering and documenting business requirements, developing current-state and future-state process models, translating requirements into actionable user stories, and collaborating with Product Owners, development teams, operations teams, and business stakeholders.

The ideal consultant will bring strong servant leadership capabilities, hands-on familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices, and the ability to operate effectively in complex enterprise environments.

Scope

Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement.

Identify and remove impediments affecting team delivery and productivity.

Work closely with Product Owners to establish and maintain well-defined and prioritized backlogs.

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

Assignment Deliverables

Agile/Scrum delivery plans and supporting artifacts.

Sprint planning and backlog refinement documentation.

Well-developed user stories and acceptance criteria.

Current-state and future-state business process models.

BPMN and process flow diagrams.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar recognized Agile certification.

Strong understanding of Scrum methodology and business analysis frameworks.

Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and processes, particularly CI/CD pipelines.

Demonstrated experience leading Agile ceremonies and effectively applying Scrum principles across development teams.

Proven ability to lead teams, remove blockers, resolve conflicts, and support productivity within an Agile environment.

Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

Strong experience with business process modelling, including current-state and future-state processes using BPMN and process flow diagrams.

Nice to Have:

Agile Coach certification or related Agile methodology certifications.

Lean Six Sigma Black, Green, or Yellow Belt certification.

Previous combined Scrum Master and Business Analyst experience within a DevOps environment
