Description

Drive software quality by influencing design, preventing bugs, and ensuring system security. You will own the release pipeline through comprehensive test automation and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain application features alongside automated tests, including unit, component, integration, functional, performance, and scenario tests.
• Design and develop test automation for front-end applications and web services using Groovy/Geb and Java/HttpClient.
• Integrate reliable, portable, and accurate tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release velocity and production health.
• Collaborate with Scrum team members to improve test coverage and participate in application and test code reviews.
• Influence design decisions and promote bug prevention strategies to ensure system security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience testing and automating front-end and web service applications.
• Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming languages including Java, C#, and Groovy.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium for UI automation.
• Hands-on experience with HTTP and RESTful web services.
• Experience with Jenkins and Git for CI/CD integration.
• Ability to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly.
• Experience working with remote and international team members.

Preferred Skills

• Experience testing web services with HttpClient, RestAssured, JMeter, or SoapUI.
• Experience testing Angular web applications and debugging front-end issues.
• Experience using UI automation frameworks like Protractor.
