Description

Own the test strategy and automation framework for a high-volume, modern API platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation testing for RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Java, Python, and SQL.
• Write programmatic API tests using JSON and REST Assured.
• Integrate API validation into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and AWS.
• Triage production and integration issues from API consumers.
• Mentor SDETs on testable system design and automation engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development or SDET roles.
• Expertise in API development and integration testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST Assured.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems design.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in resiliency, performance, and security test automation.
