Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks from scratch using Playwright and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable automation components using the Page Object Model, fixtures, and custom utilities.
• Drive comprehensive test coverage across UI and API layers, expanding automated regression suites.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for reliable test execution and reporting.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Optimize test stability by reducing flakiness and improving runtime performance.

Required Skills

• Advanced hands-on automation experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Solid mastery of core QA concepts including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Strong experience with version control (Git) and working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Proven capability to write clean, maintainable, and production-grade automation code.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software test automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API testing tools (Playwright API, REST, Postman, Pact).
• Experience setting up rich test reporting dashboards (Allure, Playwright HTML reporter, JUnit).
• Exposure to cloud environments, containers (Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP), or performance testing (k6, JMeter).
