Design and develop automation frameworks for UI and services to support shift-left testing methodologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks for UI and services using Java or TypeScript.
• Perform component and integration automation testing for microservices.
• Execute integration and functional tests within CI pipelines and end-to-end regression tests in CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot critical issues in design or code.
• Conduct code reviews and evaluate architecture against business and technology goals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with Cypress or Playwright for UI automation.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API automation.
• Strong knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Experience with Serenity, TestNG, Cucumber, or JBehave.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitLab.
• Hands-on use of Docker and mocking frameworks like Mockito.
• Experience with Selenium or Protractor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SonarQube for code coverage and quality.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS.
