Description

You own automated and manual testing strategies alongside operational support within Scrum teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with quality metrics and user stories.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers using Python and Typescript.
• Execute manual functional, regression, and smoke testing to ensure release quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and analyze recurring issues to reduce regressions.
• Track and manage defects using JIRA and Azure DevOps while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Typescript for building maintainable test frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Pytest and Playwright for UI automation.
• Proven track record testing modern web UIs built with React and Angular.
• Practical experience with API testing, including RESTful design and best practices.
• Experience with Identity and Security Testing, specifically IAM migrations, SSO cutovers, and RBAC.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud environments and containerization with Docker.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect management tools like JIRA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with load, stress, and performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of Automotive industry testing considerations.
• Expertise in advanced automation patterns such as reusable utilities and stable locators.
