Description

You own end-to-end security remediation across a complex Azure ecosystem.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability remediation across Azure VMs, AKS clusters, App Services, Storage Accounts, and networking components.
• Review and guide fixes for code-related vulnerabilities found via SAST/DAST, secrets, and insecure dependencies.
• Build detailed hardening guides covering OS, Azure services, Kubernetes, and identity layers.
• Drive large-scale backlog remediation by prioritizing issues and defining repeatable workflows.
• Act as senior advisor and escalation point for all security remediation streams, coaching execution teams.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of combined experience in security architecture, cloud security, or application security.
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure security across Compute (VMs), Containers (AKS, ACR), and PaaS services.
• Proficiency with Identity & Access management using Azure AD/Entra ID and RBAC.
• Strong knowledge of networking security concepts (NSGs, Private Endpoints, Firewall).
• Experience resolving complex remediation backlogs in enterprise-scale environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and secure coding practices.
• Strong documentation skills, including creating hardening guides and architectural diagrams.
• Knowledge of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and ARM/Bicep.
