Description

Senior Security Engineer responsible for enterprise security architecture, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation across networks and endpoints.
• Review and provide feedback on security plans, LAN/WAN designs, and third-party application code.
• Build and enhance security architecture, configuring networks to improve enterprise security posture.
• Lead security roadmap projects, enforce risk management frameworks, and develop IT security policies.
• Train engineers on secure coding practices and participate in Software Development Lifecycle reviews.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in IT security, policy development, and compliance.
• Proficiency with Cobit, ITIL, and risk management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Go, Ruby on Rails, Java, C/C++, and .NET.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and enterprise security tools.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, patch management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Proven track record developing security policies, risk registers, and incident response plans.
• Knowledge of secure web architectures, network security, and wireless security.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Computer Sciences; Master’s degree desirable.
• Professional security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar).
