Description

You will design, implement, and maintain security controls for enterprise systems, focusing on email security, AWS, and data protection.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and secure Google Workspace (Gmail) and Secure Email Gateway platforms against phishing, malware, and data exfiltration.
• Manage AWS security controls including IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub monitoring solutions.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data classification, and labeling solutions.
• Identify security risks, support incident response, and lead security audits and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and secure infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of Information Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Cyber Operations experience.
• Hands-on experience securing Google Workspace environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Security services: IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Classification strategies.
• Proficiency in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Network/System Security Controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Rockville, MD or Tysons Corner, VA.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Exchange experience.
• Endpoint DLP experience on Windows or Mac.
