Description

Serve as the technical authority for Crypto Custody engineering, focusing on key management, custody security architecture, and risk posture across digital asset platforms.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evolve institutional-grade cryptographic architectures including HSMs, MPC frameworks, and secure key management systems.
• Lead the development of custody policy engines governing authorization, transaction controls, and policy enforcement.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and incident response procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis for custody-related security events.
• Ensure custody architecture scalability, security, and resilience across multiple assets, chains, and future tokenized products.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on security-sensitive or cryptographic systems.
• Hands-on experience with HSMs and MPC frameworks.
• Proficiency in cryptography implementation languages: C, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience collaborating with security auditors and designing systems with material risk implications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, secure architectures, and fault-tolerant design principles.
