Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Tenable Nessus and Tenable Security Center including scanner deployment and upgrades.
• Own the complete lifecycle of vulnerability management tooling infrastructure from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot integrations across vulnerability management tool ecosystem and security platforms.
• Pull, compile, and present monthly patch compliance data for stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Diagnose and resolve scan failures, credential issues, coverage gaps, and data-quality problems.
• Tune scan configurations to balance coverage, performance, and impact on production systems effectively.
• Develop scripts and automation using Python or APIs to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Document tool configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for the vulnerability management program.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure comprehensive scan coverage across environments.

Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in security engineering, infrastructure, or vulnerability management role with hands-on ownership of vulnerability scanning tools. Demonstrated administration experience with Tenable platforms and strong understanding of vulnerability management concepts including CVEs and CVSS
