Description

Manage end-to-end patch management and vulnerability remediation across the IT infrastructure using the Qualys platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage patching processes for all systems and applications to mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Administer the Qualys platform lifecycle, including configuration, scanning, and reporting.
• Analyze scan results and coordinate with IT teams to prioritize remediation efforts.
• Ensure all systems comply with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patching schedules, processes, and compliance reports.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in IT security or system administration.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Qualys or similar vulnerability management tools.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
• Working knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Ability to use PowerShell or Python for automation tasks.
• Strong understanding of patch management lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Qualys Certified Specialist, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
