Description

You will build and maintain micro-services for a near-real-time limit monitoring platform for commodity positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-choreographing micro-services using Java Spring Boot.
• Implement near-real-time position monitoring with alerting and escalation mechanisms.
• Consolidate existing end-of-day and intra-day exposure monitoring software into a single platform.
• Support the transition of on-premises technologies to cloud computing.

Required Skills

• 12-15 years of professional software development experience.
• Deep understanding of computer science principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Advanced knowledge of Core Java, including class loading, garbage collection, Collections API, multi-threading, and concurrent programming.
• Proficiency with Java 8 Streams and the Reflection API.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, and JSON.
• Practical experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event streaming platforms.
• Experience using MongoDB from an application developer perspective.
• Experience transitioning systems from on-premises to Cloud environments.
