Description

You will design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions to modernize IT service delivery for state government initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions and custom applications.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, and IntegrationHub.
• Establish development standards, code repositories, and documentation while mentoring junior developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and actionable tasks.
• Define and govern the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and platform architecture.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development, including scripting and configuration.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Service Portal, and UI/UX customization.
• Practical application of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• At least one advanced certification such as Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or Certified Technical Architect.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of ITIL practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with state/local government IT or regulated public sector environments.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, HIPAA, and CJIS compliance standards.
