job responsibilities include:
Design, build, and optimize Service Mapping patterns for enterprise applications.
Independently troubleshoot probe failures, MID Server issues, credential errors, and pattern logic problems.
Manage and maintain CMDB architecture, including CI class structure, IRE rules, and CMDB health dashboards.
Implement and enforce CSDM standards, ensuring proper service hierarchy and data alignment.
Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery for servers, databases, and infrastructure components.
Support integration of third-party tools (e.g., Qualys, Tanium) into the CMDB ecosystem.
Contribute to cloud migration initiatives (VMware to Azure) impacting enterprise applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver technical documentation, sprint commitments, and project updates.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
Strong expertise in Service Mapping, CMDB, and Discovery (must-have).
Deep understanding of CSDM framework and CI relationship modeling.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex ServiceNow issues without escalation.
Experience working in Agile environments with sprint ownership.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Service Catalog modules
Exposure to security/endpoint integrations (Qualys, Tanium)
Experience supporting cloud migrations or hybrid infrastructure environments
Familiarity with regulated or utilities industries
