Description

You will design, build, and optimize Service Mapping patterns for enterprise applications while managing the CMDB architecture and CSDM standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize Service Mapping patterns and troubleshoot probe failures, MID Server issues, and credential errors.
• Manage CMDB architecture, including CI class structure, IRE rules, and health dashboards.
• Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery for servers, databases, and infrastructure components.
• Implement CSDM standards to ensure proper service hierarchy and data alignment.
• Support integration of third-party tools and contribute to cloud migration initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong expertise in Service Mapping, CMDB, and Discovery.
• Deep understanding of the CSDM framework and CI relationship modeling.
• Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex ServiceNow issues.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow Discovery for servers, databases, and infrastructure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot probe failures and MID Server issues.
• Experience working in Agile environments with sprint ownership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Service Catalog modules.
• Exposure to security/endpoint integrations (Qualys, Tanium).
• Experience supporting cloud migrations or hybrid infrastructure environments.
