Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Platform Leadership
Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform.
Define platform standards, governance practices, and long-term roadmap initiatives.
Manage platform releases, upgrades, patches, and deployment activities across multiple environments.
Development & Automation
Design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions, workflows, and custom applications.
Develop and maintain client scripts, business rules, Flow Designer automations, and integrations.
Utilize JavaScript, Glide APIs, ServiceNow Studio, and IntegrationHub to enhance platform functionality.
Integrations & Enterprise Solutions
Architect and support integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
Implement secure connectivity leveraging OAuth, MID Servers, and other integration technologies.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to streamline operational processes.
CMDB, Discovery & Asset Management
Lead CMDB governance, configuration item lifecycle management, and data quality initiatives.
Manage and optimize Discovery processes, classifications, and reconciliation activities.
Support Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) programs.
Security & Compliance
Implement role-based access controls, security standards, and audit requirements.
Ensure platform compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
Performance & Reliability
Monitor platform health, system performance, and operational metrics.
Maintain dashboards, analytics, and reporting capabilities to support business decision-making.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues while driving continuous improvement.
Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as the ServiceNow subject matter expert for business and technical stakeholders.
Mentor team members and provide guidance on platform best practices.
Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing materials.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Strong expertise in ITIL-based IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
Advanced knowledge of:
JavaScript
Glide APIs
Flow Designer
IntegrationHub
ServiceNow Studio
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.
Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in areas such as:
ITSM
ITOM
Discovery
HRSD
SAM/HAM
Experience with:
Service Operations Workspace
CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
Performance Analytics
SAM/HAM optimization
Intune or Workspace ONE integrations
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow.
Experience supporting large enterprise, government, or highly complex environments
