Description

You will manage the installation, maintenance, and technical support of maritime navigation and communication systems on vessels.

Responsibilities

• Execute installation, configuration, and calibration of radar, GPS, VHF/UHF, and ECDIS systems.
• Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting both remotely and on-site to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including software updates, hardware inspections, and component replacements.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide field insights for product improvement.
• Develop technical training materials and deliver sessions to clients and internal staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in maritime service engineering.
• Proficiency with GPS, AIS, and ECDIS systems.
• Technical knowledge of radar and VHF/UHF communication systems.
• OEM experience with at least six of the following: JRC, Furuno, Tokyo Keiki, Yokogawa, Sperry Marine, Northrop Grumman, Anschutz, Raytheon, Skipper, Koden, Simrad, Thane & Thran, Sailor, Kelvin Hughes, or STN Atlas.
• Ability to perform complex hardware and software diagnostics.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.
• Any Graduate degree.
