Description

Senior SharePoint Developer based in Chicago, IL (Remote). You will architect and build modern SharePoint solutions, migrating legacy environments to SharePoint Online while automating business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom web parts and extensions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), TypeScript, and React.
• Modernize legacy SharePoint 2013/2016 environments by migrating data and transforming workflows to SharePoint Online.
• Build and automate business processes using Power Automate, Nintex, and custom .NET/C# solutions.
• Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and third-party CRM/ERP systems via REST and Graph APIs.
• Ensure solution scalability, security, and performance through proper governance and access controls.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of software development experience with a focus on SharePoint customization.
• Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, C#, and server-side development.
• Expertise in client-side technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for building modern web parts.
• Proven track record of migrating on-premise SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI integration.
• Ability to design and consume REST APIs and Microsoft Graph API for system integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Nintex or SharePoint Designer for workflow automation.
• Background in designing enterprise-grade information architecture and governance policies.
