Description

You will manage and optimize SharePoint Online and SharePoint 2016 environments while driving technical strategy, governance, and infrastructure administration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Assess current SharePoint environments to recommend improvements and implement administration best practices.
• Develop standard site layouts, branding, and governance policies including user roles and content management procedures.
• Build custom components such as workflows, surveys, pages, and reporting dashboards using JavaScript frameworks.
• Administer the environment by managing permissions, site collections, search optimization, and server infrastructure.
• Plan for future capacity and growth, including migration strategies to SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience supporting SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online.
• Expertise in Microsoft server administration, high availability architecture, and performance tuning.
• Experience building provider-hosted and SharePoint-hosted apps using Power Apps.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong background in system analysis, development, and engineering in online environments.
• Experience managing production system monitoring, alerts, logs, and inventory.
• Ability to handle application, code, network, and database dependency troubleshooting.
• Proven experience managing and completing complex SharePoint infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• MCSA or MCSE certification, or equivalent work experience.
