Description

Lead the transformation of IT operations toward an engineering-centric approach by designing and implementing scalable, reliable systems. Define SRE principles for incident management, monitoring, alerting, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect reliable, scalable services focusing on availability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Implement monitoring systems and observability frameworks, including programmatic SLI/SLO blueprints.
• Drive automation for operational tasks such as data refreshes, releases, and database snapshots.
• Analyze resource utilization patterns to forecast capacity needs and ensure cost-efficiency.
• Mentor SRE teams and integrate SRE practices across other operational departments.

Required Skills

• 10-12 years of hands-on experience in SRE, cloud technologies, and automation.
• Strong AWS experience including Control Tower, Project Setup, Account Creation, RDS, and SSO.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Linux commands and GitLab CI/CD setup.
• Expertise in Terraform, including state management.
• Experience with Ansible for automation.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools, specifically Datadog.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Proficiency in Groovy-DSL, Java, Python, and YAML.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as CSRE, CKA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer.
