Description

You will own the reliability, performance, and automation of application components across On-premise OpenShift and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy APIs, data process jobs, and application artifacts.
• Automate testing, data quality checks, and production delivery processes.
• Monitor platform performance, lead troubleshooting for degraded services, and document root cause analyses.
• Implement monitoring and alerting configurations to enable proactive issue resolution.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to design elastic infrastructure, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of DevOps or SysOps engineering experience with a focus on major cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and OpenShift.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or Nexus.
• Experience managing AWS security services including IAM and HSM.
• Ability to create SLIs/SLOs and manage capacity planning.
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience within a dedicated Site Reliability Engineering organization.
• Deep technical knowledge of Linux OS, virtualization, software-defined networking, and load balancers.
