Description

Manage and optimize data streaming and API components across OpenShift on-premise and AWS environments.

3+ years of DevOps or SysOps engineering experience with a focus on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop CI/CD pipelines to deploy APIs, data process jobs, and application artifacts.
• Automate testing processes, including data quality checks, production delivery, and deployment.
• Monitor platform performance and lead troubleshooting for degraded services, documenting root cause analyses.
• Develop integrations between on-premise and AWS environments with third-party tools like ServiceNow and Sumo.
• Implement data security, encryption, and key management solutions in coordination with security architects.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of application development experience with data streaming and high-availability components.
• Proficiency with OpenShift, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, or Nexus.
• Ability to create SLIs/SLOs and configure monitoring and alerting metrics.
• Knowledge of Linux OS, virtualization, networking, load balancers, and firewalls.

Preferred Skills

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
