Description

You will own the reliability and performance of voice services within the cloud environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide cloud production support to maintain system reliability for voice services.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using GCP services and monitoring tools.
• Implement Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic to ensure high-quality communication.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in production systems, maintaining uptime and performance standards.
• Develop and automate scripts for system management, deployment, and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in voice communication protocols: SIP, SIPS, VoIP, and RTP.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking and system-level troubleshooting.
• Experience managing and optimizing cloud environments using GCP, including Compute Engine and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Cloud Monitoring and Stackdriver for performance tracking.
• Ability to implement and optimize Quality of Service (QoS) for voice traffic.
• Experience developing and automating scripts using Python or Bash for system management.
