Description

You will own system reliability, observability, and operational efficiency for enterprise applications on GCP and Kubernetes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets with stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance observability, telemetry, and monitoring tools to ensure system performance.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual toil and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead production readiness activities, including Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and Permit to Operate procedures.
• Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and incident management to maintain high service availability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture.
• 5+ years of focus on reliability engineering or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Hands-on experience supporting applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Autosys and Oracle for enterprise application support.
• Strong understanding of observability tools such as AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Aternity.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading SRE teams and operations.
