Description

Manage system reliability, availability, and performance through automation and infrastructure design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design high-availability strategies, defining SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident management, conduct post-mortems, and create automated recovery runbooks.
• Build reproducible, version-controlled infrastructure using Terraform.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting using Splunk.
• Automate operational tasks including deployments, scaling, backups, and failovers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ruby for tool building and automation.
• Strong experience with GCP and Azure cloud providers.
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix system internals and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience managing deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of observability stacks and monitoring tools like Splunk.
• Understanding of system security, access control, secrets management, and audit logging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of Windows system internals.
