Description

You will manage the reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed services and infrastructure in England, UK.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS to ensure high availability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS tools to automate deployment processes.
• Lead incident response efforts, coordinate resolution of production issues, and conduct post-incident root cause reviews.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python and other languages to automate tasks and enhance system operations.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems, networking configurations, and operating systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in site reliability or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, Perl, Ruby, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure management and resource optimization.
• Experience with private cloud technologies such as OpenStack, OpenNebula, or Apache CloudStack.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and Linux KVM.
• Experience with container solutions like Docker, OpenVZ, or Cloud Foundry.
• Practical knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Stackify, SolarWinds, or Dynatrace.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
