Description

Lead the migration from legacy mainframe systems to cloud-native environments while architecting and supporting AWS GovCloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver key cloud platforms and capabilities aligned with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Debug distributed systems and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Configure VPCs, account management, routing, and security protocols within the cloud.
• Lead environment performance management including logging, monitoring, and reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, configuration, and support.
• Advanced experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including VPCs, ELB/ALB, CloudWatch, and Redshift.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Bash, and Perl.
• Experience with application container technologies such as OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Advanced experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, MuleSoft, JBoss, and API Gateways.
• Demonstrated experience working within FedRAMP and Federal environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, SAFe Agile, and Atlassian Jira.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional).
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
