Description

You will manage system reliability and performance for multi-tier applications through automation and rigorous monitoring in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.

Responsibilities

• Analyze OS and application metrics to drive performance tuning and fault finding.
• Partner with development teams to implement testing, release procedures, and service-level objectives.
• Architect and develop automation to reduce toil and improve MTTD and MTTR.
• Lead incident response efforts and manage outages to minimize service impact.
• Consult on system design, platform management, and capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and NoSQL/SQL datastores.
• Experience maintaining multi-tier applications using Docker/K8s and GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• 4+ years of experience with APM and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, ELK, Splunk, Prometheus, Sensu, Nagios, or Kafka.
• Proven ability to establish SLOs, SLIs, and KPIs to manage error budgets.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and network architecture.
• Experience in database administration, including configuration and scaling.
• Ability to design and execute disaster recovery strategies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
